2025 Important Dates and Deadlines
The timeline listed below is designed to provide a framework for your project and help you stay on track.
January 21: Science Fair Registration opens. Sign up here.
January 21-February 21: Begin researching your topic of interest for a presentation or creating questions that will lead to an experiment.
February 21-March 5: Decide between project types. Either a presentation on a science topic that you'd like to research or an experiment. Start gathering experiment materials or resources for research.
March 5: Science Fair Info/Prep Session from 6-7 p.m. at Copper Beech. Volunteers will be available to help you put the final touches on your project, brainstorm ideas if you haven't started yet, or answer questions you have to make sure everyone is ready for the Science Fair. Register here.
March 21: Deadline to Enter Science Fair
March 28: Final check-in! You will receive a Google form asking you to confirm your final project title and category.
April 9: Complete and final touches on your display
April 10: Science Fair at Copper Beech Elementary School

The Copper Beech Library and Abington Free Library are wonderful resources for research or experiment guidebooks. Ask a librarian for help finding books that are age-appropriate and can help inspire you to find the right presentation topic or experiment for you.
